This ‘flag’ is brushed with my biggest brush. The brush carries a lot of pigment adding deep colour to it’s bold statements. I like to paint these pieces when I’m tuned in to the subject as there is no room for hesitation.

I have used Kozo paper which is traditionally used in Japan to make Shoji screens as it is light, luminous, fibrous and strong. A statement piece that is also light and easy to hang.
